Bunny In The Foxhole

I was laying in bed earlier,thinkin about the war,etc.And I had several thoughts cross my mind,some in a humourous fashion,others in a more serious sense.I decided to jot em down cos it seems like this has become a copy/paste blog,which in a sense it is,BUT,there is still a person behind it,and I feel that from time to time I should post a reminder of said fact.So anyhoos.
I was thinking about the media,and the number of casualties they feed us all on a regular basis.If there was a grain of truth to this,then shouldnt Iraqis be a almost extinct breed/species/race/culture? I have read reports that thousands die by the day.How is it they keep on then?I mean pure Iraqis,not the Turks,er anyone else slithering into their country.Of course I know its a ratings ploy,and hopefully other people will wonder the same thing too,and maybe STOP buying into everything we are told.
Then I was thinking about the length of time this war has went on.I think a lot of people are remembering how fast Operation Desert Storm started and finished,and maybe have come to expect this to be the same way.If only that was true!! I really dont remember a whole lot about Desert Storm,I was like 20,with a 2 yr old,and kinda wrapped up in my own world.But I do remember it being fairly brief.Least as far as wars go.A lot of people warned that this would be a huge undertaking,maybe more of us,including myself,should have listened.
Ah dinner calls..so I must scoot...tt4n!
